A short story about me...

My name is Brandon Truscio. Originally from Minnesota, I now reside in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Happily married for 18+ years to my wonderful wife Sonja.
We have no kids but we are "uncle and aunt" to a very special young lady.

Study and Work...

I am an alum of the University of Minnesota, "Row The Boat!", where I studied social sciences and coaching.

I have been in several fields for work including customer service, banking, and technology.

I currently work at a tech company named Guide-Star located in Iron Mountain.

Interests...

First and foremost I am an ordained minister. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses I take the study of God's word, the Bible, very seriously. However, some might say that's where my seriousness ends. Not entirely true but they might know me better than I know myself.

I am still very young at heart and like things that many kids and adolescents enjoy.

I love music and the arts. I have a pretty large vinyl collection, and have some unique art pieces and photographs.

Reading used to be a passion of mine, now I am more of a listener. (Audio Books)

My reading interests are varied. Everything from History to Science, to Bios and comedy. Not really into fiction, however.

I also have a love of animals. Especially Dogs and Horses, though really I find all animals interesting.

Sports...

I am a huge sports fan. The sports teams that I follow are mostly Minnesota based. However there are a number of them that are not.

I am a Chelsea FC and Plymouth Argyle supporter in English Football. I have also been following Wrexham AFC mostly due to the popular FX docuseries.

I love Canadian Football and am part of Rider Nation. (Saskatchewan Rough Riders)

Speaking of Canada, I also love the sport of Curling. During the winter I watch about as much Curling as I do the Minnesota Wild.

Hobbies...

I mentioned one before, reading, however, now I mostly listen to books and lectures.

Music is also a big part of my hobbies. My favs are all over the map, from Big Band to Classical to Dance Music.

While limited, I have done some of my own art including: writing, painting, photography, and architectural drawings.
In the near future I will be sharing those on a separate webpage.

My bigger hobbies though are video games and Legos. That is what this site will focus on.
